Humanity Redefined

 Angie Archer and Carmen Broesder came together with a shared vision: to create sustainable, community-oriented solutions that meet people where they are.

From that vision, SkyStone Vale LLC was born — a for-profit social enterprise built with minimal overhead and a maximum focus on compassion, purpose, and long-term impact.

Both Angie and Carmen are experienced engineers who approach community design with the same precision and systems thinking they’ve applied throughout their technical careers. Angie, a college-educated operations engineer, brings deep expertise in logistics, organization, and scalable infrastructure. Carmen, with a background spanning network operations, nonprofit leadership, and service delivery, recognized the opportunity to bridge infrastructure, care, and autonomy in new and sustainable ways.

Together, they combined their skills to launch SkyStone Vale, beginning with campgrounds and transitional-stay communities designed not just for overnight use, but for reconnection, stability, and dignity.

As the project grows, so does the vision: to cultivate spaces that foster belonging, self-determination, and resilient, values-driven communities for years to come.

 We are proud to partner with Unity Harbour, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Oregon, dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing housing instability, barriers to care, or difficult life transitions.

Through this collaboration, SkyStone Vale provides low-cost and crisis-based camping access, including no-cost stays for individuals and families in urgent need. Unity Harbour, in turn, uses these spaces to pilot supportive programs, gather data, and build momentum toward long-term community development initiatives.

Together, we’re demonstrating how purpose-aligned infrastructure can advance nonprofit missions—blending practical land use with compassion-centered service, without sacrificing sustainability, autonomy, or intent.
